There are situations that leave us completely vulnerable. However, being vulnerable is not the same as being without resources. You still possess something of value or have access to some resource.

If you're asking what to do in a situation, think carefully about what resources you have available and see if there's really nothing you can do. Perhaps you have something to negotiate.
